To serve you in the best possible manner, please follow the lead times on the catering website for any catered function to guarantee your specific order and time. In order to ensure success of your function, all orders should be placed at least 48 hours in advance. Every effort will be made to accommodate your last minute requests.
Flowers, linen, and china service are available by request and at an additional charge – current market price from Rental Company. Our regular catering hours are Monday through Friday from 6:15 a.m. to 5:00p.m. Late afternoon, evening and weekend functions are available, but are subject to additional charges.
If you have moved a catered event from one location to another, please alert us one hour before the delivery time with the new location to avoid confusion and unnecessary charges.
You can modify your order on the catering website up to the order lead time for that menu. After that time, modifications to orders must be called in to the catering manager.
Orders may be cancelled up to two business days prior to delivery at no charge. Cancellations less than two days prior to delivery will be charged the full amount.
We reserve the right to vary menu selections when necessary to meet market conditions.
A catering charge of 25% will be added to all outside entity orders. An additional 10% will be added to all orders placed 24 hours prior to the event. Johns Hopkins Hospital, & Johns Hopkins University may pay via cost center/internal order numbers and “optional” fund number. Kennedy Krieger Institute must pay by check. Check payments should be made out to Johns Hopkins Hospital and sent to 600 N. Wolfe St, CMSC-B100, Baltimore MD 21287. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or personal/corporate check are accepted for catered functions purchased by outside parties. All checks should be paid to the order of: Johns Hopkins Catering Services. All customers possessing a valid Maryland Sales Tax Exempt certificate must provide a copy for our files when the order is placed. If not we must charge applicable Maryland State Sales Tax. Payments made by check or credit card will be subject to a 6% Maryland State Sales Tax in addition to the catering charge. When paying by check or credit card a 50% percent deposit is due 30 days prior to the date of the event. The open balance due must be paid at least one hour prior to the start of the catered event. Any event totaling $250.00 or more will be sent a binding contract for signature and must be returned with deposit/payment.
